New grounds almost without fail lead to a spike in attendances. Whether that's long-term or not who knows but there will definitely be a jump in attendances thanks to the new-stadium effect.

FWIW, I voted for either Van Vollenhoven or Murphy (can't remember which), and I think Elmer Fudd is a poor choice for the statue at this time, just due to the fact he's still playing.

I totally agree with you about the postal vote LOL! My Vote was for Tom as I don't agree with statues for living players (still playing), but I did put forward that the statue could have been three players honoring a few greats era's as well as today.

The mob who have not been happy with a lot of what has happened to the team and the way they have played (and still play defensively more times than not) has existed and still exists. But just because people don't agree with one coach does not mean they want any old body to replace that coach. I certainly don't. I've never heard of the latest guy as he was around before my time but from what people have said he does not sound like a very good option. Hence, although I have not been happy with Potter I don't want worse than Potter. I want better than Potter.
