i m up fo a week this week, saw the stadium yesterday. loking good. unfortunately while out at the weekend down south my camera got dropped and broke so cant take any pics !!!
oh well.

I was under the impression that the corners would all be filled in. Was I wrong or will that bit be added later?

Also, does anybody have a shot of the north stand from the inside of the stadium? I'd like to work out where my seat is going to be.

The south , West , and East stands will all join onto each other , the North stand is basically seperate (although the roof and outside wall joins it to the rest of the stadium) to allow for the doors in those corners

Big crane visible on the webcam in front of the stadium and they are putting the piles in on the bridge site , saw one as I went past this morning and its flippin huge!! lots of activity on the bridge site , nice to see , its been a bit quiet the past few weeks

When will the work be completed?Its starting to look pretty close, but when will it start to be used (not for matches) but as an income generator? Can we hold the kids Christmas party there this year????

They are selling Christmas parties this year, so I'd guess yes.

Is that a manhole cover in the corner? Please tell me it's not a manhole cover but just something left behind by the builders!

Most modern stadia have built in sprinkler and drainage. It will be linked to that.

But its on the edge of the pitch, where players can be found. Isn't it dumb to put a manhole cover on the edge of a rugby pitch? I'm thinking injuries.

It is no more dangerous than the masses of concrete around the edge of the pitch.

But that's a bit further away. The manhole cover looks very close to the ingoal area when players can slide for long distances, especially in wet weather.

And I agree that the concrete is dangerous.

However, you might also notice that I said the pics were fabulous.

The manhole cover kind of took me by surprise. It wasn't something I was expecting to see on a rugby pitch.

It is literally right on the corner of the turf. and is no more than i inches across. poses no risk to players at all.
