You cant always win games playing open attractive rugby. Wigan weren't at there best but there defence was great. Top teams can win games when there not at there best, like saints used to do in there day

The problem though pal, we was on your line for best part of 30 mins in the 2nd half and only scored when you was down to 12 men.

Im pretty sure the score would have been much higher if it was the other way round.

We didn't play to bad but shoukd have put more points on the board.

IMO we are 3 players away from being a top side.

The game was a mirror image of the games in the wet last season. There is not much between the teams, it was just that this time it was Wigans turn to take their chances and Saints not take theirs.

Having watches the sky + recording I do think that Roberts was unlucky to get sin binned. Pryce dummied the tap twice and then actually touched the ball with his foot at which point Roberts had every rite to make the tackle.

If you are looking for a team that has bad conditioning,get yourself to the jungle on Monday.

Most of our pack wouldn't look out of place in a darts team,Saints will win by the bucketload as usual.

Your goal line defence was awesome to hold the likes of tony p and roby up a good few times. The wasn't much in the game but to be camped on your line for best part of 30 mins and not put more points on board is pretty poor by saints.

Tis true that they go in the pool usually the morning after at Total Fitness and they get to break all the rules that the rest of us have to obey such as wearing swim caps in the pool. Not all of them but quite a few,

Have you actually read this thread? Nobody is making excuses, Jonh commented that the conditioning of the players looked poor, and people replied with some of the reasons as to why the players may have looked fatigued. The fact is, nobody knows why this was the case except the players and the coaching staff.

Whilst I agree we don't look as trim as previous seasons, especially those when Apollo was conditioner, I think that a) it may be something of a tactic with regards to with the wrestling in the ruck and b) is less of a concern at this stage of the comp as it will be if we are still so 'pilsbury-esque' come the 2nd half of the season.

If you take a look at previous seasons (the ones where we have been far and away the best team all summer only to lose the final on a wet october evening) a bit of size wouldn't go a miss.
