ANyway, without doubt THE best hooker of SL. The only hooker who came close was Jimmy Lowes.

More importantly, and I may be wrong by a try here but I totted up us winning the game 36-0 in the time Keiron was on and losing 22-6 when he was off. Pretty sure he went off at 12-0 and he definitely came back at 18-22. That's how important he is.

Ive got a funny feeling that most will count the giants game as the last game at knowsley road.

People have said that about KC for last 10yrs but it don't stop him playing well week in and week out.

As players get to the end of playing they alway put little weight on, look at long now to 10yrs ago.

I remember Millward saying KC is one of the best 3 players in the world.
I thought there was 1 SL season when Jimi Lowes was better than him but overall he has been outstanding.

Man of the match next week?

I've seen plenty of games where Lowes - Newton - Swain have outplayed him in a match. But with KC its the amount of games he's played at such a high level of performance that makes him a great player.

Cunningham has been an immense player and I will be sad to see him bow out. It will be fitting to see him win a GF in his last ever match.

Il be hanging my boots up myself next week, il always know the date as it's same date as the grand final and the kings last game for saints!

I'm going to miss training on Tuesday, Thursdays, playing on a Saturdays and few beers after the game with my mates, be a tough day knowing I won't ever play rugby again with all my rugby mates!

It's sad for me but I can't imagine how kc feels! He trains with these guys every day, he's gone to saints to work every day for 17 seasons.

My dad said to me when I was about 10, rugby mates will be the best mates you'll ever had.

Please be gentle folks, this is my 1st post on RLfans, and yes im a Wiganer!!! Ive been watching Wigan and a rugby fan since I was 6 years old, and am now 38! I have seen a lot of great players/legends of the game! I can honestly say that Keiron Cunningham has been up there with the best of them! Week in week out this man has terrorised opponents, and pleased fans!! I would have loved to have seen keiron in Wigan colours, but the man is saints through and through.....unbuyable, that loyalty speaks volumes for the man!! On a personal note im glad he's retiring, he'll stop terrorising wigan. But really what a loss to the game he'll be! A player who ALL rugby league fans can be proud of!!

As for the Grand Final......I hope everyone has a great day out and enjoy the game whatever the result!!!
