I could have requested the day off, but felt why should i lose a days holiday because Whelan is an Arsehole who wont let the RL team play on its traditional game day.

So far I am not goign as I have no ticket...someone go get me 5 tickets please in the East stand, sat next to a goon fan please.

Agent Mulder will probably know the Billinge (Mi********t) family, but they were staunch Wigan fans and wouldn't go to Knowsley Road as they begrudged giving their money to Saints. They wouldn't even shop in
St. Helens.

A mate if mine who lived in Pemberton, when working at Bispham Brick Works, Orrell, would not get on the St. Helens bus to go to work, he'd wait for the Billinge bus to come along.

I'll bet there are many stories from Saints fans in a similar vein.

All Saints allocated tickets sold out, North and East. Plenty of tickets left amongst the Wigan allocated areas. Hence, I wont be going.

'Fraid so ... dont go in JJB shops nor the ground .... but suppose the most serious was storming into the old Billinge hospital as my daughter-in-law was about to have her second child, and asking for her to be moved to the other end of the ward, the end closest to St.Helens so as to be a sintellener, only for my daft son to register the birth in WIGAN

My son has never forgiven me for him being born in Billinge Hospital and his birth registered there, so that on his passport it says that Wigan is his place of birth! Poor lad has been skitted by his uncles and aunties calling him Pie Eater!

I hang my head in shame as a terrible mother.

Same for me, place of birth Wigan.

I am not going cause I still cant walk. Been nearly a year now and starting to get fracked off with it but been swimming and hold out hope for Hull on Monday

The family friend who got me into Saints wouldn't allow his daughter in law anywhere near Wigan in the last month of her pregnancy. He was worried he would have to say "Grandad loves you very much, but..."

Dad was born in St. Helens, been watching since I was 5.

Born n bred in St.Helens, only got interested in Saints when met hubby, but daughters both born in Billinge hospital, they both HATE the fact that it says wigan on their place of birth!

Thankfully even though I no longer live in St Helens at least I was born in St Helens!

When it looked like my sister would have to be transferred to Wigan to give birth she refused saying she didn't want her child born in wigan - and thankfully it didn't have to happen!

Officially St Helens birth (not Whiston). Cowley Hill hospital to be precise.

As to why I'm not going - feet up, Little Wool doing whatever 12 year olds do, Little Wool 2 (hopefully) asleep in bed and Mrs Wool at her mates so a good night all round
