How annoying was Eddie Hemmings tonight keep going on about Saints injury crisis? To their credit I don't hear any excuses from the Saints staff or team and the way they have played in the last weeks with so many injuries is a credit to the club. It has given opportunities to players that have taken their chance and I feel sure it will reap rewards in the future. But Eddie, will you please find something else to talk about!

I see Royce has come out and apologised for the defeat. He has blamed it on his decision to try to simplify the tactics in light of the disruption and it left us playing far too conservatively and not competing. Good of him to do that and it's good to see he isn't wallowing in the comfort blanket having so many out injured is giving most of us.

I think Saints could be fined by the RFL for not taking super league seriously. Not fielding a full strength team week in week out and messing up the top 4 positions. Saints are not operating in the true spirit of the game and are also devaluing the u/20's competition.

Some people involved with saints have told me that Leon is only a week or two away from playing as well. With Eastmond also soon to return we could have serious selection problems for a change.

I was told that Leon is back training but not 100% yet and have no set time on when he'll be back as they want him back to stay as another set back with the groin will finish his season and prob finish him at saints.

At least 3/4 weeks they said.

On Twitter Leon said he is due to have a scan soon - this coming week I think - and if that is ok then he is all clear to play. Eastmond was considered for the game against Featherstone but it was decided to give him another week so really he should be back on Friday. Lomax must be due to return shortly with Gaskell not long after him. Scott Moore said on Twitter than he is now in full training so he is on the mend at last.
