We could sack all our players that weekend and get Widnes to play in st Helen's shirts..........just to show us how it's done.

What a luxury to have such a great squad that you can rest your best players against lowly widnes.

The team Wane selected today should have been good enough to win that game, especially when 18 points up in the second half.
Fair play to Widnes they hung in there and deserved the win.A bit of panic set in the Wigan side but it was not the youngsters, Russell was probably Wigans m.o.m.

If there are any referees on here, what is the rule regarding head injuries? Should the game be stopped? It may show it on the Sky tries later but Goulding was out sparko for about five tackles (not interfering with play) when Widnes scored one of their tries to bring them back into the game.

Finch had "words" with the referee after the incident. Goulding dd not return to the field of play.

Well that weekend could have ended worse. As it is we are only a few games off the top runners, so it still gives Royce time to turn us around.

Warrington and Wigan downed, but not really much to be happy about as our performance just does not warrant it.

It's disgusting King Kong was allowed to rest that many player's, it could be the 2pts needed at the end of the season that Widnes needs to fight us for the wooden spoon?

I can't see five players being rested resulting in any action. We've been resting three players a week this year.

The lad marsh who's on loan sounded like he had a very good game as did the lad from Warrington on loan o'brian

Marsh gave Jack Hughes a hard time today with his pace and footwork. The only problem Marsh has is his lack of awareness of what is going on around him (too much head down) and that's not a good trait in a centre.

I've noticed he runs with his head down.

Widnes have been bashed all over the show all season by all and sundry...yet still beat hapless Wigan.

Happy day for me. I didn the 10k run in 1hr 13 minutes (well faster than I thought I would do it), raised 170 quids in the process AND Wigan got beaten by the new boys of Superleague. Made up for the dismal end to Friday night!
