I know that Finch has signed for Wigan.
So in that case will you take that bet on Meninga being the next Saints (manger/ coach)

You really are an annoying bugger aren't you?
And your'e not even trying at being annoying; your just a natural.
You are repeatedly avoiding the question by repeating your childish mantra of "a somple you or no will do" you your pathetic "bet".
All he wants to know why you think your opinion is of more value than what Mal's agent has said. The owning of shops etc is a junk reason which his Agent would surely already know about when he said Mal would consider coaching us.

Has Meninga's agent said that he will definately take the job? No, he's said he will consider it. RG doesn't think he will. Do you know what prompted the statement from the agent?
Why does that mean that RG thinks he knows more than Meninga's agent? The agent wouldn't be doing his job properly if he dismissed it out of hand before receiving an offer, even if there is no intention to take the job unless a ridiculously large sum was offered.

He actually said:
Quote The chances of him coaching at Saints, slim to zero. '"
His agent stated that the role would be considered, not taken.
How is that stating otherwise?

| I see Rafa is leaving Liverpool. With a much bigger job available at Saints, it can't be a coincidence.

You need to look up the definition of definite, particularly as the word definately does not exist.
If you had said probably then you would have been correct. There's a huge difference.

| Is anyone aware of a bookmaker offering odds on your next coach? I've heard a whisper today and i'd like to stick some fiscal on it.

| Queensland RL boss Ross Livermore accepts Meninga is in the frame for Saints job and addresses the speculation, no smoke without fire I suppose. Didnt know we were "cashed up" though! lol

[iMal Meninga is set to be hunted by cashed-up British Super League club St Helens as the replacement for Mick Potter in 2011.
QRL managing director Ross Livermore said that Meninga was under contract to Queensland next year and he did not think the league legend was interested in club coaching.
"But given his great service as a player and coach, we would not stand in his way, and it's not as if he is going to another code," Livermore said.[/i

I might be reading a bit much into this, but that quote gives me the impression that hes on his way. 'Its not as if he's going to another code', surely that should be 'its not as if he WOULD be going to another code'?
I get the impression Livermore is saying he is leaving Queensland and coming to Saints, as i say, i'm probably just reading too much into it, but hopefully not.

Any Australian would make the logical assumption that if St Helens come a calling, you go to respresent. Playing or representing the V is an honour on par with a knighthood or an oscar, you just don't turn it down.

Technically, we're very cashed up aren't we? Even more so since the new guys have come on to the board.

Mal Meninga has decided to stay in Queensland.

| With every week that passes, losing Potter seems a worse move.
He's done a tremendous job this season. We've scored the most points in SL despite having our worst time with injuries for years with stacks of academy lads getting several games.
Thinking about it - we could name an all St Helens academy XVII from players who have played in 2010:
Wellens
Foster
Wheeler
Dean
Lomax
Moore
Eastmond
Graham
Cunningham
Emmitt
Clough
Dixon
Roby
Magennis
Armstrong
Ashurst
Johnson
Given another year or two, and a few signings rather than just bringing through youngsters like he's had to do so far, I reckon Potter could create something pretty special at Saints.

I'd be surprised at that. Particularly as Simmons is a bit of a loud mouth which doesnt go down well with Eamon.

I agree. Although we're not really losing him, we're getting rid of him
It would have been interesting to see what he could have built if he'd been given less shaky foundations to start with
