Saints slowed the game down all match vs us, so they can have no complaints at getting beat at their own game

COME ON! Wigans defence was immense! Saints had every single decison going for them AND STILL couldn't manage to beat us, the ref gave them the extra man, he gave them all the feild position he possibly could BUT STILL couldn't score! HA! Brilliant.

No wonder, he didn't know where he was for half the game after nearly being decapitated in the first half.

I though both teams were extremely poor, it was nothing to write home about. The referee was also poor, lost control of the game and didn't seem to have a clue how to get it back, other than a huge string of penalties for both teams.

The major point is that we've played the other 3 particularly strong teams in yourselfs, Wire and Leeds and we've won all three. The only other major worry is Hudds, but if we can stay reasonably consistent then not many other teams should trouble us. Not being cocky, just we've played the best in the league, away, and beaten them. I think we'll finish 2nd behind wire though personally, still think our pack isn't strong enough.

Where have I said we'll win the grand final? And your right we did beat a half strength Leeds team, but we were missing key players, not as many, but some. We can only beat whats put in front of us though.

Before the game i was worried about Wigan. I've just left the game thinking there isent much between us at all. We can beat anybody on our day and a top 4 spot should see us have a real shot at the title.

On another day we could of won that one by 20 plus points. Welldone Wigan, you played well. However i cant help but think we'll have the last laugh this season.

I think if we'd have had 13 men for longer in the match it would have been further distance tbh. You looked dangerous but our defence is outstanding this season. Your 1st try was completely down to Richards being moved to fb and leaving the space open.

True, but you need to be winning these games at the end of the season when it matters. I've seen leeds teams in the past knock off the main contenders early doors but then faail when it matters. Now we seem to be the opposite.

I think leeds would have given you a much better game with a bit of form and a few more players in the team. In fact I daresay all things being equal the teams would be very evenly matched, and at OT?....the leeds players just love that old trafford night.

I think theres 4/5 teams that are very evenly matched so when it comes to the playoffs it's going to be very close and tight.

Enjoy your form now, but it never lasts forever, you will hit a sticky patch and beating the contenders now is no guarantee of success in october.
