Meninga is one of the leading contenders amongst the current Saints players. I wouldnt be surprised if he were our next coach.

I know Shenton and Perry have signed for Saints (and I don't know their agents)
I know that Finch has signed for Wigan.

So in that case will you take that bet on Meninga being the next Saints (manger/ coach)

So his agent says "If an offer does come, you could say Mal will consider it", but as usual Rogues has better inside info. Just because you don't want it to happen doesn't mean to say that it won't happen. If Meninga does become Saints new coach it will be because for whatever reason it suits him to take the job. Brett Finch is a good organising half back who has played State of Origin. He was superb for Melbourne v Bulldogs over the weekend.
I'm not 100% sure if his signing is true but I have heard from it from two different sources, as far back ad the Murrayfield weekend.

The general concenses from people who know him as a player seems to be that he's good, but not great. Imo it sounds like he'd be a good "old head" play alongside Tomkins.

I have a different opinion. I watched him live last season for Parra when he didn't have an orgainisng half back with him and he was utterly atrocious. The Parra fans at the game were calling him not fit to burn and Anderson got rid of him a week later.

There's plenty of players who have played Origin who don't necessarily make good imports.

They ban anyone that trys to have any banter. I'm pretty sure that i wasn't offensive towards anyone, yet i was banned. I'd have expected a PM if i was offensive to anyone. You have plenty of banter on here, without a banning, maybe that should be re-considered though!
