I hate it when the pies beat us and it's worse when we get so used to beating them but the is stil a lot of rugby to be played yet, bide your time.

On the subject of jon wilkin, IMO he has been a massive let down, it really fooks me off when a player with the ability he has just don't use it. He's played well in 1 game in the last 3yrs or so.

Although that is a good point, I think that teams a better at neutralizing offloads than they were back then. It would have been nice to have a player such as McTigue/Pinner/Britt in there to find out.

Still, it will be interesting to see Wigan play a fully fit Leeds side this season, a team that offload more than most.

I think this is a remnant from the days of Millward, not a Potter thing. I remember a Challenge Cup match during Millward's reign, St Helens vs Bradford. Bradford won the first half convincingly, but then proceeded to drop the ball a lot at the end of a tackle as Saints introduced this tactic. It wasn't impacts, it was hands in while a player was tackled on the floor, and they got away with it. If I had been the ref, I'd have been asking myself why this Bradford team was suddenly giving away the ball so often and watched closely for it.

This was an example of why I refused to support the decision of taking Millward on board, I don't want anything to do with a team coached by that pillock, even if it is my team.
