We have Percival, Lomax, Walsh and Roby all out injured, three of them key players. We all know how long they are apparently going to be out for as these things don't stay hidden in RL, the players talk, the staff talk, the staff that work at the training ground talk. The other clubs will know exactly how all of those players are and who is and who isn't playing every week as SL clubs are so closely connected. What do we gain from keeping it a secret?

The club have said Percival and Lomax have had scans are awaiting a 2nd opinion.

Cunningham has said Walsh will be out for a few more weeks and will play when he is ready; he won't be rushed.

Roby only happened last week so maybe they don't know the extent of the injury yet.

Saints from day one of brown taking charge wouldnt put time on long term injuries as it put pressure on the player and medical staff to have them back. I beleive KC is the same way of thinking.

I beleive more details will come out this week but until they have had another medical check I don't see why they should say anything until 100% of the full extent of the injury.

Correct but they do beleive robes isn't good. Hopefully not as bad

Nightmare scenario for us, that. Sick to death of injuries now.

I think we are one injury away from massive massive problems and thst player is Burns. If we lose him we have no halves left with lance playing 9.

If that happens you'd think he'd have to pick Hewitt, whether he's really ready or not.

He'd go Wilkin/Hohaia with Flanagan hooker.

We could also move lance to 6 and Charnock to 9 but I'd liked Hewitt to have played in the Wigan friendly to give him that experience.

One thing is for sure, we can't lose anymore key players.

Why should the club publish any timeline for a players return.

They will be back when fit and good enough.

Too many internet junkies believe that they should know all about everyone. Live your own lives.

I don,t think its much of problem in the delay of injury updates, the club probably don,t want to give any false dawns, its just us fans particularly on the forums that throw out speculative assumptions which creates self secrecy.
Once the club have definite injury detail, I,m sure they will provide the updates, meanwhile it does keep the oppostion teams guessing.

Saints should just do what Leeds do and put out an overestimation of the injury layoff time so nobody expects it expects it when they are back earlier

Bit late in the day to adopt that approach given that we were supposed to have seen Walsh back on the field in week one.

And then he got a virus and then a knock on the ankle in training. What's difficult to follow?

And this is why they should not bother. People want mystic meg predictions.

We have quite a few injuries at Warrington & our club don't give any sort of exact time-scales.
For example for Simon Grix they are saying it will be the Summer. We currently have Richie & Rhys Evans out and TS said that Richie will be a 'while' & Rhys will be a 'while longer'

I'm hoping that James Roby plays against us on Thursday he is class & I love watching him play.

Thank God we are having another injury crisis. The last one was so long ago.

Please go on Redvee and tell some of the people on there that we're not the only club that doesn't put a timescale on injuries.

The worrying thing, can we adapt to having a full strength injury free squad, have we structured to winning the league leaders shield and grand final without key players. Do you think other teams will catch on to this new way of winning silverware!

I'd just like the club to come out and say ish Lomax hurt his knee and will be out long term, Percy had a tattoo gone bad and upon a second opinion we don't know how long he'll be out?

Walsh hurt his back picking up his wallet and he's too busy talking to agents for next year in the NRL to come play for Saints this year?

Agreed. Just as last year we went into the season thinking 'I hope to God Walsh doesn't get injured, or we're screwed!', it's very much the same feeling this year with Burns. Which obviously means he's going to get injured!

Burns getting regular bans should stop him from getting injured

Lomax out for the season.
Walsh won't be coming back.
