Given Hohaia wasn't used in the way I'd expected last week I'm leaning to move him into the halfbacks and moving Wilkin back into the back row.

I could be persuaded by that. Although I think one of the reasons Hohaia and Savelio were used so sparingly was because our main men got quite a few long breaks in the game - I'd expect to see more rotation on Thursday.

I think this needs to be tried and tested a bit more when the opportunity arises because I can,t see us getting a full season out of Walshy, Burns and Lance look a bit more durable.

I'm also assuming that Roby has put on bulk to play certain gametime at loose forward which means Lance playing 9.

Lance could have very good utility value and needs to be in the 17 every week to contribute.

Big Joe is the one under pressure as there is a waiting list to take his position in the 17.

Same as last week for me too - the lack of stoppages (hopefully) in this game should mean Amor & Walmsley are spelled a little more often and the subs better utilised.

Still looks a decent Salford team, possibly tight game first 30 mins before our pack gets to control momentum.

The report from Warrington was that they put up a decent effort, so we can't assume a walk in the park by any means.

Anyone who thinks this is going to be easy must be mad. I predict a very tight game and with the WCC the following week I've a feeling we will lose.

Why change a winning team though if we have no injury doubts?

We bombed four certain tries in the first half. To be fair, Wire bombed a couple too. It could have been all over by half time, but Warrington took their second half chances and deserved the victory. Although the score flattered them.

I think this will be a real tough game and could go either way. My heart says Salford to win a close game, but I think the hooking role will win it for you. The only area we haven't improved on in the last two seasons. If Roby is on his game it'll be yours.

We have competition for places, but you can't drop people for the sake of competition - having Flanagan is great to keep the pressure on everyone, but no one deserves to lose their place on the Catalans performance

Well you can. You might not, but that is a difference in style.

If you say you have lost a place, it's as though a place belongs to someone. After one game I'd say it's too early to be saying we have our best 17 out without trying anyone else.

If someone else plays, who is to say that won't push the play who made way that week to greater heights when picked for the WCC?
