I must be missing something with Matty Dawson. He must be the worlds best trainer.

Just goes to show what a dreadful state of affairs reigns behind the scenes, the only thing I can justifies the award is that he must buy all the burgers for the hangers on at Wheeler Dealers Burger Van after training. Shambolic!!!!

Charnock and Eaves both got player of the year for their age groups? They're both half backs? GET THEM IN THE FIRST TEAM.

Walmsley won the same award last year at the age of 23. Just saying.

Walmsley was in his first year of full time rugby league and only his second year of professional rugby league. It could be said that he was a young player.

Mark Percival is a genuine young player who has saved our bacon numerous times and who fully deserved the recognition of the coaching staff for the positive impact he has had on the team, including coming to our rescue with goal kicking duties since Walsh was injured. Looks like Dawson is Nathan Brown's current Scott Moore, in which case watch out Adam Swift (although if he gets shipped out to the right team as Sean Lunt did he may end up with a GF winner's ring!).

It is silly to be so Anti Brown considering the youth he has brought through, the good purchases and the position he has moved us to.

He has brought through no higher number of youth than Simmons did. And Simmons took a real risk - he brought young halves through. Just because you choose to forget that Brown is not the only Saints coach to have brought young players through as a result of injury doesn't mean it didn't happen. Ergo your reason for having a childish dig at me is in tatters.

He's brought them through without injuries, which if anything is more difficult.

As for bringing young halves through. Royce had no options in year 1. Leon was crocked and Eastmond was on another planet.

You make your dislike of Brown quite clear, with statements like Brown can finish anywhere as he is pals with Rush.

I on the other hand, have never disliked a Saints coach. Royce is long gone and Brown deserves our support, not snipping from the sidelines about him being best pals and therefore untouchable.

I don't know Brown at all. I've only spoken to him briefly once, in Nandos! I didn't want him as our coach and I set out my reasons why. So far, he hasn't overcome those reasons. Clearly Rush thinks very highly of him because Rush himself has said so, in print, and has spoken of his (Rush's) wish to extend Brown's contract, in print. So where you get this silly notion from that it's my 'anti-Brown' stand that's talking I don't know. That daft imagination of yours by the looks of things.
