I'd say Leeds looked much better for the sending off ... Gave them a siege mentality and a purpose to play they were lacking in the first 20 ...

Think Moon was right decision but no real malice in it for me. 1 game ban to go with the 60 minutes he served tonight.
Funny how as Saints fans you always go on about Soliola not being a dirty player.
Every time I have seen him play Leeds and or on TV he always either goes high or hits a player late a couple of times in each game.
Thought he was lucky not to get ten minutes tonight.

The leeds fans round us didn't just cheer Moon off, they booed Percival off as well. Lovely people.

It was the correct decision. No intent to make a tackle.

I would be very concerned as a Saints fan going in to the playoffs, after the next 60 mins though. It was 2-2 when Moon got sent off. I would have backed Leeds to win pretty convincingly last night, had it not been for a moment of madness.

Danny Lockwood is a complete fool with little knowledge of the sport. Lazy journalist with a poor publication.

I thought it was 100% correct to send moon off. I don't think he did it deliberate and I don't think he's that type of player but rules are rules.

I have no issue with the sending off as long as all those are a sending off. I recon sending off sufficient.

Agreed, no ban required, Leeds were punished enough by losing a game they looked like comfortably winning until Moon went off.

He definitely saw it. As soon as he saw the reply he ran down to the bench to change the team before the ref had even pulled out the card!

Moon was sent off after 22mins. Amazing if they looked like they would comfortably win it at that point when the score was 2-2!

Never liked Brian when he was in London, he was still in his post military days! but I have respect for him at Leeds, though he has had some real good players to work with.

The only place the game was close was on the score board. Leeds were turning the screw and continued to do so with 12 men. Saints worked the numbers and credit to them for that. An unconvincing win with 14 days prep against 12 men with 3 day prep.

Without reading all the posts and talking about "intent", that tackle is an example of the why shoulder charges are banned.

I actually thought that Leeds benefitted more. The sending off gave them a real kick up the whereas Percy going off disrupted our already lacking attacking shape.
Brown had a clear plan to continue to grind down the middle until the dam broke. It worked, but it was a close call.
