Looks pretty good.

The 3/4 times I've seen him this year I've been pretty impressed. Looks big, mobile, fit and puts himself about.

One thing for sure, he can't be any worse than Perry.

This is the first time I've ever seen him and I have to say I'm ever so slightly encouraged. A few good hard carries making decent yards and 2 good hits on Lauaki. So far so good.

Has Beaumont deffo signed for us?

He's been this standard every time I've seen him. It's a massive upgrade on Perry if he plays that way every week. It's the injuries he's had that worries me.

He's a decent young prop. Could make the grade with the right coaching and conditioning.

Still needs to improve a lot, but he hasn't played much rugby in his career. Could turn out to be a decent signing long term.

Yes. He's steady and maybe would be better starting with LMS and then we can bring on Masoe and Walmsley on rotation.

Although, it depends where the coaching staff see Walmsley. I think he could end up being a starting prop if he builds his fitness up. He's certainly got the potential to play far more minutes than he does now.

Where has this come from we've signed him?

I still 100% think we need another prop alongside Beaumont, maose, walmsley, clough, laffranchi (if stays). We need a good starting prop but obviously the club knows this as we are in the market for a prop.

It's whether we use the quota spot for a stand off or a prop.

Seems alright to me. I'm 37 minutes into Fridays game and he's getting stuck into the Wigan pack. He's also had wraps from Clarke for his impact and Carney for his defensive effort.
