Farcical. Fairly similar to Moa's earlier in the season but not as bad, that wasn't a sending off either.

Both players go at it shoulder to shoulder and the Frenchy just bends his legs to give a push off into the shoulder charge. There was no raised arm and simply how you can give a red off the is mind blowing.

When Sam Burgess played in SL, the SKY commentors gave huge raps for a similar tackle on Frodsham, which knocked him out cold.

Put simply if that's the rule now, Burgess would never have played SL, he would have seen Red every other match.

Poor decision, it's not even a penalty. It's poor technique from Henderson, you dip your head into a challenge that it always shoulder on shoulder and it's your own fault. TP doesn't deliberately attack the head.

If they've outlawed the use of the shoulder, they need to communicate that to people. SBW might be better not returning to league if that's happened and someone better tell Burgess.

It was a superb challenge - if we start penalising them then we're slowing turning the sport into a game of touch rugby.

Someone mentioned Sam Burgess on Frodsham. Well how about Sam Burgess's legendary tackle on Fuifui Moimoi? Very similar to TP's challenge today and Burgess was (rightly) lauded for his shot.

To hear the Sky mob agreeing with decision really makes you question their ability to call these games.

I 've heard them going on about these hits on Boots and All a few weeks ago, saying that they should be banned. So it was not surprising to hear them agreeing.

But I do think that that type of tackle needs clarification from the RFL. I would ban it as they have in Rugby Union, but that's just my opinion.

The way I see it, if he's made contact to the players head then it should be a pen, as it would for any other minimal contact to the head.

It was a clean shoulder charge. The ancient touchie with the clearly dodgy eyes saw his head go back and assumed TP had hit his head. But that's what a big shudder can do to your head!

You've got to factor in the way Henderson goes into the tackle. If you had a son or a Grandson approaching a tackle like that, going up against a big guy and he leant in with his head, you wouldn't be too happy about it. It's very poor technique from Henderson, there is no attempt from TP to attack the head.
