We were due an easy draw after all the tough games in last year's comp and Leeds away at the start of this.

Speaking as a Thunder fan, I hope that you're all going to come up in huge numbers for what will turn out to be a great Bank Holiday weekend. Some of you may care to 'stay over' - whatever the budget, there's something to suit.

I'm sure that our corporate facilities at The Newcastle/Gateshead Hilton Hotel are second to none - watch out for deals there (this normally includes transport from / back to the hotel)

Pre and post-match, local RL-supporting pubs are The Schooner (very near the stadium - by the river) and The Wheatsheaf, Felling (walking distance)

Decent weather will mean a great atmosphere - whatever the result

exactly when we all come from an area that gets unfair bad press (the north) youd think people would have more sence.....then again tho if your a st helenser and a scouser, you'd probably realise that giving stick about some areas is actually justified!! (ie/ liverpool / st helens and the rest of merseyside)
