These are three terrible performances, well below the level these players are capable of. Fair enough to be beaten by Sydney, but we were thrashed by Salford, and are currently easily second best against a woeful hull KR side who are attacking and defending better than us.

The selections are bizarre. The tactics are non-existent. The skills are in decline. The commitment is terrible. The results are unacceptable for any saints side I've watched in 30 years.

Cunningham was a champion player for the club, and deserves his statue. But he should not be coaching the club.

I'm not saying sack him but he's ruined all Nathan Brown's good work in one season and 4 games.

Let's at least wait until the game's finished, owt can happen yet...

I've seen enough in this game already, irrespective of a result against one of the worst two clubs in the competition, to see that we remain incapable of defending or attacking effectively.

We've been hammered by Salford. We're struggling to stay competitive with Hull KR. I fear what will happen when we play the likes of Warrington, Hull FC or castleford.

These are some very good players who are consistently playing below their abilities both as individuals and as a team. If that's not down to the coach, I don't know what is.

I just think he doesn't know how to coach them. I've coached more imaginative attacking systems with a pub team in the London amateur league. This is not acceptable for saints.

I think the fact Kelly has left the field has influenced the game in the 2nd more than our players and KC tactics

Bottom line is we scraped a win by 5 tries to 4 against a depleted poor side, and we still let them go the length and score in the last two minutes.

Let's not let that mask the issues here.

Next week against Castleford will be our best marker of which direction we are going improvement wise, just want an exciting game with full commitment.

It'll be interesting to see how we'll look when Lomax is back in the team. He's just the creativity we need, taking on the line and running off the shoulder of Walsh. Roy mentioned Hull KR being depleted but with a fully fit Lomax, Percival and when he finally chooses to play him 'Fages' in the side, that's 31 points tonight would be 40 at least and suddenly you've got a comfortable victory instead of a slog.
