| After last nights performance against Salford, even though it pains me to say (being a Wire supporter) think Saints will be team to beat this season.......
Whilst other Clubs (Wire included) are "moaning" about the "It's the normal seasonal slow start......." Saints have just hit the straps at full tilt and have some seriously good players you've acquired in the close season.......

| Leeds are the team to beat. Then Huddersfield. Then Wigan. We've got no chance, we're like a tiny pony in a stallion race.

Even you must be a little more optimistic than that, but you're right that Leeds look like quite a proposition at the moment and Wigan are the Double Holders.

| We look a top 4 side at the moment but we know how lots of injuries can soon change things, so I don't think we will count our chickens until August/September.

| Brown's hudds teams had a habit of falling to bits halfway through the season too so it' wait and see for me. We've not really hit top gear yet though for me, just spells in games, If and when we do click I think we have enough to blow any team in SL out of the water including Leeds

| Leeds by absolutely plenty as the team to beat. I think they'll win the double.
In slightly more concerning news, could Catalans go down? They seem to be pretty awful this year.

Wakefield, London and Bradford provide the safety net

| Agreed
Leeds are the team to beat.
Saints - Leeds will be a belter.
I said before the season started I think it could be Leeds and saints back at the final this year.

| Leeds and saints look the top teams so far but I expect Wigan to be there as well. It's a 3 horse race IMO this year.

| Leeds are the team to beat.
They have all the big game players with experience.
Saints are however looking a very good side.
I just think we are lacking in the big game experience these days.
Wigan, Huddersfield and Warrington are I think some way behind Leeds and Saints.
If I was a Wigan fan I would certainly be concerned that Huddersfield took Wigan to the cleaners, yet struggled to a draw against Hull kR who were thrashed by Castleford, not to mention Huddersfield losing to Widnes this weekend.
Luckily for Wigan they have a couple of easy fixtures in the next few weeks to get back on track.

Don't write the pies off. They still a good team. They have two good halves and big rough pack. They will be there or there about without a doubt.

| I think anyone is a bit stupid to write Wigan off this season after what happened last season.
They haven't played well at all in any game so far (one a very big game!) and I think it will take them a while to get over it. They should finish in the top 4 and they will be dangerous at the end of the season.

They've started well. One would presume they'll struggle to maintain it, but it's nice to see classy cas doing well. Shenton looked good last night.

| Just watched the match last night. Had to listen on the radio on the night in question.
We truely are a step or two up on last year. Some of the stuff we did was just pure quality. Percival looks a big threat for the future, he is already bumping players off and getting his head through. Some of those passes that did not come off will be coming off sooner or later.
The pass to swift only didn't come off as he jarred his arm on the floor at the point of release. The pass to Lance could have happened too.
I did not think Salford were easy beats, yes they were shocking in defense at times, but you have to give credit to our defense, how many times did Salford struggle to get out of their half and they were not all running in softly.
I'm also not sure we can say that just because Amor and Walmsley went off we went back. The game is going to ebb and flow, Salford got a few penalties and got some position. For 40 minutes it was more of an even game.
But we look very sharp and just had that level to go to that Salford just could not match. Had RAngi been playing it may have been closer as they may have got more points during the spell where it was more even.

Saints have got what you have needed for a few years a decent half back you played the same against us in the pre season friendly but we didn't roll over like wire and salford you will be there at the end of the season but don't think your quite there just yet

Are you serious and you have come to this conclusion after three games? Saint have had an excellent start but wigan warrington and leeds will be the teams to beat again as reflected by the bookies.
