Did great on his debut, thought we were f**ked when Wheeler and Puletua pulled out late.

Where does he play? He looked very, very confident, pushing and shoving the Wire players, having digs at Waterhouse. Very strong running and you never felt worried when he was involved like you do with some youngsters.

He's a centre and has played there for England U20's IIRC.

He's a big strong lad with good footwork. He's scored something like 4 tries in the last 5 games in the u20s.

He did ok although the dummy he took was a bit soft. Presumably the coaching staff identified a weakness on that side as he was taken off, never to return. I thought it was a daft idea to give a debut to a player against Warrington in a match that was important for us to win. Thankfully, Warrington were not on top of their game and so it didn't cost us too much.

Ah i was waiting for this one to appear and oddly enough i knew it would be you to bring it up,yes they scored on the flank and yes Meli was infield,but watch the replay,Wilkin shoots out,Jones goes up and in if Meli stays on the wing there is a gap you can drive a bus through,what do you want him to do in that situation ? Its more a case of poor numbering up and awareness from Briers at the ptb.

I'm not sure what happened with that selection. I got txt the team Thursday night and sia was centre and TP was loose forward but got a txt at about 7pm tonight saying tp out and josh jones in the centre.
