Him and Shenton would give us the best centre pairing in SL and that for me wins titles.

If we're not in the market for him due to salary restrictions then Saints really have shot themselves in the foot by re-signing Flannery. We have enough good backroowers at the club. It's always a good idea to save money for mid season when a good player becomes available.

Perhaps we could negotiate a release for flannery to go the otherway (or to any club) without cost, thus solving our problem?
