If Leon would rather move on to the Bulls with a year left of his contract left than play behind a pack containing the likes of Graham/Perry/LMS/Soliola/Puletu/Wilkin/Roby then he may well finish his career a couple of medals down on where he is now.

If we could guarantee Lomax's fitness I wouldn't be overly gutted about this news, but there are certainly no guarantees as far as our youngsters' fitness is concerned.

Leon wanted an extension as far as I know at St Helens but his request was turned down because you can't afford to top up his contract when his current deal runs out.

So with that in mind and us offering him a three year deal and the chance to return to his hometown club, wouldn't be in your best interests to take the money from us otheriwse you could potentially lose him on a free at the end of next season.

if we are only going to get 90k for him, I would rather keep him and let Lomax learn from him for 12 months and lose him on a free at the end of next year.

if we can get upto 200k for him, I would take that now for sure.

anyway, if Pryce actually wants to go to Bradford now he wants his head testing.

The 90k figure is what we are likely to get in pounds sterling for the release of Matt Orford to Canberra.

That's not say that we can't top that up by 50k or 60k if you are ready to play ball.

We are in desperate need of a key player in that position and Leon fits the bill.
