As all UK flights (in and outbound) have now been postponed, anyone guess how toulouse are planning to get here? its a long drive

Yes, and they had stayed in the U.K. leading up to that game as they had played at Halifax on Easter Monday.

I guess the expense of hotels for another week would be crippling for them, and I believe the RFL pay their for their flights for the cup games (I read somewhere that Leigh were having their flights paid.)

added to the fact that these chaps aren't full time means they'll have been at work this week and possibly can't fly until Saturday for that very reason.

You've also got to feel really sorry for the Salford and Leigh supporters who were due to fly out today / tomorrow.
Limoux (where Leigh are due to play) is a beautiful village, with a fantastic square surrounded by small restaurants and bars. We were there in 2004 for the Wigan Challenge Cup tie, and had a fantastic time. The locals couldn't have made us more welcome. Mini had to pour me and my mate back onto the plane.

On the radio during my commute home tonight it said that flights were due to start up again tomorrow morning.

Just heard on ITV news that there are going to be no flights in Europe again tomorrow.

BBC News had an interview with NATS and they're making an announcement at 8pm tonight with regards the flights tomorrow.

Apparently Leigh have or are going by coach to Dover and then on the Eurostar to France. Perhaps Tolouse will do the same in reverse.

I have not redeemed my season ticket voucher for the game and it states that this must be done 72 hours prior to the game (this I did not know)......

I am sending the missus down in the morning........Will I still be able to get mine and the daughters tickets do you think???

On the Saints Official Website it says you can hand your voucher in at the gate. I wish I had known this as I exchanged ours in town yesterday. The girl on the desk in town told me I could hand in the vouchers at the gate but seeing as I had made a special journey I decided to exchange them so that I didn't have to take my season ticket book with me.


Tolouse by the way have apparently stayed over in the country after their game at Widnes last weekend.

Can't believe how lucky I've been. I'm writing this from Florida having flown over yesterday a day later & I'd been cream crackered!

The solution seems straightforward - line all the planes up behind each other on the runway (like the old WW2 aircraft carrier) and then let them fly at 500 feet or so in a big long line till they clear the ash. The CO2 from the pollution will clear the ash in no time as they claim it can burn off ozone at a great rate!

Apparently they've located the source of the huge dust cloud that has been hanging over UK airspace - the cleaner at the DW stadium was told to give the trophy cabinet a quick wipe.

Apparently our opponents are already here. They stayed over in the UK after playing Widnes last weekend.
