He'll be going back to Leeds as he is homesick and that is where his mates are. However, if they couldn't offer him a deal because of the salary cap, and we had some space on it, then absolutely.

Great move for Leeds and he's back where he belongs. Even though he always seems to do well against us it's good news for RL to keep the best talent.

He's got plenty of talent. But I'm not convinced by his level of commitment.

Shame he's back to Leeds , but I'm glad he's back in RL whatever the reason. I would liked to have seen him at Saints as he's a quality player who would walk into our first choice 13 even if we were injury free.

Thats 7 internationals and 7 incredible players. They have a truly superb squad now and it makes an absolute mockery of our own squad development. Once they get a few players back they will be nigh on impossible to stop.

Ah! well, it will be no use watching Boots'n'all tonight as the show will have been taken over with the Smith saga.

Gidley is as good as Senior, Pryce/Eastmond are better than the Leeds halves.

They have far better wingers, but Gardner/Meli are internationals themselves and who's to say Lomax won't be better than Smith/Hall?

If only from time to time you could look at some Saints players with similar puppy eyed awe. Our absolute mockery of a squad is several places above their truly superb version, in case you hadn't noticed. We're also above Hudds (another better squad than ours according to you) and level with Wire (who you seem to think are streets ahead too).

Lol, let's not go overboard, but I certainly think the pieces are fitting into place for leeds to have a major assault on a 4th title come playoff time.

His internationalism comes from him being Australian



But my view still stands.

Webb > Wellens - By an enormous distance. A modern fullback has to do more than be reliable under bombs. Wello is the reason our wingers are so poor, they are under far more pressure in attack and defense than they should be.
Hall > Gardner - Again, by a staggering distance.
Senior - Gidley - Both old and slightly past it
Delaney > - We don't have more than one centre in the squad. Wheeler, a junior stand off is playing there at the moment but it's a weakness both in attack and defense. I'd rather Dean played there, a junior second rower.
Smith > Smeli - Again, by some distance.

Proof that this a trolling attempt.

Why is it? Centre isn't a natural position for him and if he's to stay there it'll be a long term development. He won't be a top centre in SL for some time.

He'as already a top centre in SL, check out Sunday's highlights (and pretty much every time he pulls on the shirt). Would you swap him for Delaney?
