According to the Rugby League World magazine. I personally would wish him well, the NRL is a better standard of competition than Super League. But can you imagine him after him training in shorts and a vest? He'd turn a pale shade of pink for a while.

It'll be interesting to see if a) this is actually true that he's asked for a release and whether it's in his contract anywhere and b) if it's not in his contract whether the club will do the honourable thing and release him.

In all honesty, who wouldn't be banging on Big Mac's door if an Oz club called? I'd be on my way to Heathrow as soon as I put the phone down.

We'd need better than Paea coming in though, we'd need two props better than him.

I'd be proud that one of our youth products went on to Oz.. DA would know what to expect with him..

I can't think of a forward who id rather have than Jammer. Peacock or Burgess would be the only one who come close.

Not really Jammer material. But then again, no-one can really stand in his way. It was always on the cards that DA would target one or two of our younger stars.....Graham and Roby were the two most likely candidates.

Shame for super league & saints but would be good for england, with Sam Burgess him and Ellis all in the NRL doing well we might have a chance of coming within a score of them.
