Apart from James Graham not being selected which is a complete joke I dont think there can be many arguments.

Nice to still have a saint in the team, bizzare about Jammer though, looks like its back to back man of steele awards for him only this year.

no complaints with that team except jammer not in there. And ive not got jam tinted glasses on by the way. He has been imense again this year because he has had to be. Without jammer and cunningham not sure if we would have made the playoffs this season. Good to see moore in there as well.

As a Wigan fan i think i'm baised enough to comment 'against' Saints in most things but even I can't do that in regards to James Grahams ommission from the Dream Team.

Head and shoulders the best prop in superleague and for him not to be included is as big a nonsense as when Barrett didn't get the Man Of Steel award in 2007(had to put that in

Ridiculous that Jammer isn't included, but hardly surprising when the team is pciked on the say so of journalists like Hadfield, Wilson and an assortment of pillocks from the League Express whose combioned knwoeldge you would striggle to fit on a five pence piece.

Also think O Loughlin should have been selected over Sinfield

Heck, I'm a Leeds fan and I think James Graham should have been in there. He runs his blood to water every time I see him play. I might not like him, but I've got to admire him. Without Graham your pack would be about half as effective.

but off the back of it I do think he is overworked, if you had the props to back him and spell him more he could be even more devastating then he has been this season, that mey be because of injuries that he has played so much in games but again my opinion, i suppose i havent watched him week in week out.....

Its must have been a very hard choice for the selectors, 3 awesome props only 2 places. Maybe Grahams behaviour over the last week or so took it away from him.

And? Playing prop isn't about metres per carry if you hide and don't make many hit ups.

If Morley and Graham had done the same amount of carries as each other it would be the deciding stat, but all your change of emphasis does is make me question whether Morley works hard enough, given that his team are 10th in SL and absolutely terrible.

Whey, another thread on JG. Fantastic. I actually agree with his omission but cant put my finger on it why. Also, i think Peacock has been good in both attack and defence, although i dont think Morley was a cert. to be in there.

Does more carries mean that JG carried Saints forward and the rest of your props were "hiding"?

Somehow I don't think what Graham said or what he did matters a bit in the decision making, unless the press people have suddenly become soft in the head. He made a good point about players playing in very hot weather last season but was still included in the dream team last year. Sean Long is not the best boy in town but he's won the Lance Todd three times, so methinks your suggestion is garbage.

I believe I know why James Graham was left out. It is because the RFL and the media this season have had a very clear agenda to give other clubs a turn. Leeds would be represented in the dream team whether deserving or not because most of the media blokes are based in Yorkshire. But aside from that, it's all about the 'smaller clubs' this season.

Oh how I would love us to win the Grand Final. As unlikely as it sounds - in fact it sounds positively far fetched - it would be a great finger in the eyeball to all and sundry to see us lift that cup and be called Champions on Sky all next season. Just for the rub it in value. *sigh*

IMO jammer is by far the best prop in super league. I think mozza has pushed him pretty close but how as peacock made it before graham?

I'm a big fan of JP but he's not been a patch on jammer this year from the games I've seen him.

IMO jammer, mozza and hodgson are front runners for man of steel.

I thought the same, in attack at least he's been a shadow of the player he's been, though I suspect this has been as much down to the lack of service and improvements in opposition defence against him.

Graham's omission is frankly bemusing.

Swap Graham for Peacock and it's a reasonable selection. I'm not sure that Tomkins has done enough to get in although the competition in that position has been pretty weak and he's certainly performed relatively well in front of the cameras. Not dissimilar to Penny's inclusion in that Dream Team from a couple of years ago.

Going back to Graham, only one top metre maker, as a prop, has not featured in the Super League Dream Team since 2003 (don't have stats from before that) and that's Terry O'Connor from his 2005 season (he rattled up 4,104m). In every season since 2003 the top metre making prop has appeared in the Super League team except for the two record breakers, O'Connor and Graham. Bizarre.
