Yes it did, it happened in the bloody chicken wing tackle! The medic has stated clearly that it is as a direct result of that tackle that his shoulder is damaged. Medic talking about medical things = hard evidence.

My immediate thoughts on reading the article were that he managed to comtinue playing on for 3/4 of the match without any problems.

and the antics at the end of it brought a once great club into disripute.

If thats the case the medics should be sued for severe professional negligence for failing to bring him off straight away.

Failing that its impossible to prove which tackle (if any) caused the injury and the press release is borderline libelous IMHO

I think if they were going to make use of the situation, they would have had a press release before they decided the ban.

It sounds to me like his shoulder is too injured to play/or risk him, and they wanted to make very clear it was the chicken wing incident that caused the injury.

Which 2 teams will Leeds lose to for that to happen?
