| How many you guys bringing over would you think.
We havent heard much about ticket sales but I would think with how important the game is looking to be (top of the table decider) it should be a all ticket sell out IMO.
Also, what are your predictions for the game? Think this week off will have definatly done your guys the world of good.
BTW.. I have gone Leeds by 7

| I think we'll do better than alot of people think, especially if Maurie is back. The week off was desperately needed.

| It's got L written all over it.
Leeds 56 Saints 12.
We've not played well since we last played Leeds at Headingly bar the odd game against Cas. I really can't see why anything will change because of a week off. It's not like fitness has been the only issue, it's one of many. We need the likes of Cayless and Maurie back to have any sort of push, but they need more than the 2 games they've got to gain form and fitness for the playoffs. If Mo or Cayless do come back this season the first 2 weeks for Maurie will be a building process and for Cayless it'll be more like a rehab session than the JC of old.
Realistically this season is over. There is not enough time to get the form we've missed all season back. Reaching the GF through winning two tough home games would be a good achievement the way things have gone.

| I doubt we will win but hopefully the week off will have helped and the players will be back refreshed and ready for the end of the season.
And Adam I think you are being very optimistic expecting anywhere close to a sell out!

| My heart is saying saints win but my head thinks a cricket score.
It depends on how the week off has helped or not. We are defo good enough to go there and win but if we play how we have been I think Leeds wil score 40+

| The Leeds coach says they are desperate to finish top and win the 'hubcap' As over the past two seasons Leeds have won the GF but have not finished top and people think they are not the best team because they didn't finish in pole position.
All of a sudden because they are now in pole position they think it's worth something.

According to Potter in this weeks [iLeague Express[/i, Maurie should be back for Leeds but Cayless is probably gone for the season. Wheeler and Hargreaves have not yet returned to full training so there is only an outside chance they will be back. Eastmond should be back but why he would be playing if Longy is ok is anyone's guess, unless Longy still isn't fully right and we're waiting to see if the sun is shining in Leeds before putting him on the pitch.
I'd go with the loss to Leeds contingent. I just can't see us winning this.

| Personally, I couldn't care less if we get beat 100-0 and get I get absolutely soaked in the stand, as long as we reach and win the Grand Final.
Probably wishful thinking, but taking the last two years as experience it tells us that this fixture means absolutely naff all.

| It's amazing how the two threads on the Rhinos site dedicated to discussing the match on Friday have both turned into discussions about the hubcap! Anyone would think they considered it worthy of winning, or something.

Where did any of the Rhinos fans say that the hub cap is worthless? Like I just said, It would be good to own another piece of silverware to the collection.

| Saints have crushed Leeds twice already this season so dont see why we cant put them to the sword again.
I find it amazing that just because Saints hit a temporary dip in form that we are suddenly the worst team int eh league who are going to get smashed by Leeds.
Saints will be up for this one, as will Leeds. So should be a battle royal.

Where exactly has anyone said we are the worst team in the league? I don't see that anywhere. Pure melodrama.
However, because we have had a somewhat extended dip in form, which culminated in a few fairly awful performances, most people don't hold out a lot of hope for a win against Leeds, who happen to be top of the league and in form just now. I think that is actually a reasonable conclusion to arrive at, given the evidence.
I'm sure all of us would be delighted - nay speechless with ecstasy - if the two weeks off had turned us right around and suddenly we resembled the team that last played Leeds ... and we actually managed to beat them on Friday!
However, based on the evidence of our own eyes in recent weeks, that's unlikely. Not beyond the bounds of imagination, but unlikely. Based on recent evidence.

Leeds are joint top and have had a couple of good weeks ,but the 2 weeks layoff will of done the saints no harm whatsoever. With fas back and eastmond to speed things up in the half back position i see a close encounter.Maybe a bounce of the ball ,or a refereeing decision making the difference.Saints haven't been the best side for the majority of the season for no reason and hopefully friday will show why they have been the best side in superleague for the last 4 years..

Would be interesting to put all four seasons results together and see how many wins both Leeds and Saints had to see who was actually the best side for the past 4 years. Leeds already two wins over saints for last 2 GF's

It hasn't been five games. It's been most of the season.
But who knows. Maybe they'll pull it out of the bag.
