Just wondered if anyone knows anything about St Helens supposedly offering 250,000 for Myler. Salford supposed to have turned it down.

Someone posted this on Salford site, said he has a reliable mole!!

Saints couldnt afford 250p let alone 250K.

Thats just insane for a lad his age with only 18 months left on his contract. If Salford turn that down, they are fairly daft IMO. They could a decent 7 and a couple of very good props for next season with that sort of cash.

Read the article in the M.E.N. That the post on the wire said refers to. Wire have not put in a bid of 400k. It actually says that Salford could command up to 400k in transfer fees for Myler....Doesn't mean they will get it...and no player is worth that, who is still learning. A good prospect but still along way to go ....more to prove.....

Offiah has alot to answer for IMO.

If Offiah gets an offer of £400k for Myler he is a better agent than i tgave him credit for. By putting a figure into the public domain, he is starting a price negotiation. Very clever, possibly.
