Why? It's his debut, just easing him in. It's not like they are going to use him as an impact prop all season because they've named him on the bench for the opening round game.

Just strange. He would be a shoe in at any club in the game IMO. If he can hack the spotlight he will be the best NRL import to date.

Personally I don't think Graham will have as big an impact as Ellis or Burgess have had in the NRL, thats not to say he wont be a success but Ellis has been voted the Tigers player of the year every years he's been there, so to say Graham will be the best import is a bold statement and that's before we even take into account the likes of Reilly, Hanley etc

none of them did over 4000 metres a season, every season for 4 years. If he gets anywhere near that in Oz the Austrailians will be looking for long lost relatives to prove he's really an austrailian.

Not having a go, but I think he'll struggle against the Aussies, for a big bloke, I don't think he runs the ball in anywhere near hard enough.

Im not saying he wont do well, im just pointing out that to say he's the best import ever is a bold statement. I can see your point about the stats but that was in the superleague, if you want a few more stats, Rangi Chase had the most try assists last year, and the year before closely followed by Dobson in 10 and Holdsworth in 11, all 3 players who didnt exactly set the world a light in the NRL. We can all use stats to make/break an arguement
