this way Pryce could drift in and out of the attacking line - he is a dangerous open field runner
Burrow could slot in at hooker when Roby comes off and put Eastmond in at 7

| I'm sorry but Pryce should not be in any representative side whatsoever, unless he has welsh, scottish or irish ancestry!
he has been shocking for quite sometime now,he has been absent in all the grand finals against the whinos when surely a player of his supposed standing in the game would have excelled!
I would even suggest that the Saints should seriously consider re-signing pryce when his contract ends

I think were lacking a bit of 'biff' off the bench, Graham being a meter maker and not a high-pace wrecking ball style. Also, Wilkin being a kicking option takes a bit of pressure off, and Diskin direct's a lot better than the two young hookers. Moore shade's it over Roby for me, with the all-round game, defence/attack/kicking/game time

| Bailey bottled it at 'A' level. I'd love to see him try and get into the face of a NZ forward.

That would still have a lot of youth and experience and a bit more go forward than Smiths team.
Would have liked Cunningham in there with Roby off the bench and no Sinfield but like Senior he doe's not want to play international games now.

He we also scarily un-accurate with his distrubution and was in-affective going forward, against a slow French pack. I have sympathy for Moore, as he was trying things from acting half, if he was a bit more confident (and concious) he would have made a bigger impact than Roby. Also need a kicking option, to pin the Aussie's back.

I'd resign! Seriously! We've got NO chance! I'd even pick a load of old crocks that got the closest to winning the proper WC instead! Might've been nearly 20 years ago but they'd do better than this shower of yorksh*te puddings playing now!

I'd go with only 1 hooker with burrow, eastmond or even sinfield taking over from robes when rested.
I know smith says he's building for the world cup with likes of shenton, brisco and so on playing but IMO we should be looking to pick a team that's good enough to win this comp and IMO that means picking senior, gleeson and pryce no matter how old they are.
The is still few years yet for us to build for the world cup.

| I think Scott Moore lost his confidence while at Hudds. He needs more time at club level before playing internationals. Unless Smith does some wonderful man-management, I can't see Moore's confidence rising in time to play the Aussies. I don't think we'll see him on Saturday.
As for Roby, some aspects of his game were fine but his timing was a bit out and he needs to practice his kicking game. I don't remember when he last played a full 80 minutes so he's probably got some adjusting to do, and fast.
I don't see why that game against Wales was played given that most of the team changed for France. It was a pointless exercise. Unless we delay the start of these internationals, or shorten the season to give more time between the season's end and the start of the internationals, there is not going to be enough time for an international team to gel before we are into the tournament. The Saints and Leeds guys only had three training sessions with the rest of the team before having to play France. That is ludicrous and needs addressing if the RFL hopes to encourage fans to take our international game more seriously.
