I know they don't stand in goal. I didn't say anything about a drop out. Had he knocked on then Hudds would have gotten the ball back, which is what they did anyway, so things wouldn't have been any different and we would have 'enjoyed' the drop goal farce that played out. However, had he run that bit faster (which he's certainly capable of) and got the ball, we would have been in a stronger position and not know fielding hysteria over a drop goal that never was.
