5th is a terrible, terrible handicap for any team to have to overcome. A top 4 finish is all important or we have no chance.

That's it though, we need to carry the attitude. LMS had a stormer, so surely he can have a stormer next time, rather than reverting to anon.

One a Saint...always a Saint.

The season we have had, fifth is probably a fair assessment. We simply haven't been good enough to finish in the top four on a consistent basis.

Its how you finish a season though, as we are all fully aware of. The past two seasons, Leeds have been bloody awful up until August. They've won the competition on both occasions.

Us winning the Grand Final seems very unlikely - however it seemed just as unlikely when Leeds were languishing and their fans were calling for McDermots head.

Major difference Leeds had a team full of champion players Saints certainly have not , it may be many a year befotre anyone wins from fifth again
