I think it's great news on both of them.

Although people struggle with the Turner decision at the end of the day he's as good as any English Centre that might be available in the near future. Besides that I think he's showed more going forward in recent weeks than Shenton did in two years and he's improving. Shenton was supposed to be the finished article!

Definitely at DW. I remember him coming out for the warm-up and we didn't have a clue who he was.

Moore was very physically mature for a 16 year old, though. He was only short but a fair lump.
He always played a bit of hooker though - the first time many of us would have seen him was when England under-x played a game at KR before one of our league matches.
Moore played hooker and smith played 7. Miles Greenwood played 1.

Turner did a reasonable job for us and could score tries, but as some have noted on here there were games when he couldn't be bothered, or that was the impression hull fans got. when he was on his game he was pretty good but his defence was worrying. not fussed when he left as it's opened the door for ben crooks who has been outstanding this season and looks like a future international.

but that said, he's a decent enough centre

That's the problem, to many decent enough and not enough quality

I believe Wheeler and Lomax did for a start; they were U16's but I suppose they could have reached the age of16 during the season?
