Considering Thompson reportedly played well, I don't see your point.

| The most disappointing thing about yesterday for me was the amount of errors, and we are talking about basic mistakes that shouldn't be being made. Once again, we picked up three injuries - a couple early on, and that took it's toll towards the end. I haven't read all the posts on this thread, and I'm not going to, but people seem to forget just how bad the injury situation at the minute. What I will say is that we are conceding the same stupid penalties week after week after week, and although you can't fault the effort and application, you can't expect to win games on the back of the indiscipline we have been showing.
London aren't a good side, but they have a set of forwards who work hard and run even harder, and Craig Gower had a field day on the back of that. We looked absolutely clueless on the occasions we found ourselves in decent position, and once again, the lack of a Half Back was evident. Lance Hohaia needed a huge game yesterday if we were going to pick anything up, and once again, he didn't deliver. As I say, you can't fault the effort, but we needed the senior players to stand up yesterday, and unfortunatly for us, they didn't. As I say, we lost three players once again to injury, and although it's good to see so many young players out there, we have far to many out there at the minute.
On the plus side, Sia Soliola and Paul Wellens were immense in my opinion, but you can't expect to win games without a decent set of Props and Half Backs. People can say what they want about Wellens, but he has really stood up this season for me, and leads by example every time he pulls on a pair of boots. I am not saying he deserves a knew contract, because he doesn't, but if the likes of Hohaia and TP gave half as much as Wellens does, we would be in a difffent position that we are in. A club legend, and rightly so.

| Don't you think that the club would go out and get a HB if they could? It's obvious what the problem is.
That suggests one thing in terms of the cap IMO.
Yesterday was bad, I was glad to have made a day of it!
