As long as this isn't just him skimming money off the top for his global sports and media consultancy this could be good. I'll leave that down to people's interpretations of what that consultancy means.

cant be worse than richard lewis, may have done a couple of good things which people will point out but he didnt understand rugby league or its fans.....he is more suited with the tennis

I just hope he is not a Yesterday Man, can he still pull it off, I seriously hope he can, but the Rot begins with the CEO who has ruled over the past & current RFL, will Barwick be brave to look for someone with more flair and fresh ideas? or is it just a job at least!

i dont plan on it, a chairman needs to be strong , but i hope he listens to fans / people who really know and love the game.

i wasnt a big fan of lewis, but the RFL have taken a good bit of time to make this appointment so its no snap judgement, i was more points out how i feel this is a MASSIVE year for our sport in this country and i hope he has a good team around because a lot of big calls need to be made
