Joynt: 3 SL titles, 1 WCC title, 2 Challenge Cups = 7 in total
Farrell: 1 SL title, 1 Challenge Cup

Oh yes.

Farrell wasn't a myth, he was great captain and highly respected by all players that he ever was captain of and that includes the likes of scully.

Farrell was a leader and it doesnt make a difference if he was in a poor Wigan side or not.

Given that Sinfield is captain of Leeds over Jamie Peacock, who in turn has captained his country many times; I'd say your theory, which just happens to favour the Wigan candidate, is flawed.
