Obviously the RFL thought there was "something in it" unlike the one-eyed coach. He needs to learn some dignity, humility & class when not getting all his own way. No wonder they are illdiciplined with him setting the example.

He definitely stepped over the line then.

For me Hock's problem is his fitness, he is nowhere near what he was and this will take time, he was frustrated, they were getting hammered blah blah. I think the ban is just right, he misses the GF if they get there, he will miss out on England selection, surely this is enough. I am not saying gouging is right I am just saying why I think Hock did what he did and I think the punishment is spot on. Do we want blood? don't answer that

Pretty shocked as all the pies was saying he'd been training the house down for two years which is clear he ain't.

His lack of fitness was getting him frustrated and his head just went.

IMO he should have got a 6 match ban for the gouge and 1 match for the punch.

I guess it depends on how he's been training. He has certainly bulked up but maybe too much.

I think he should have been match fit by now or at least nearly match fit. He's massively of the pace and that's why he wasn't picked for the final.
