Very much an outside chance, but wire have 3 difficult games ( Catalan (a), Wigan (h), Hull FC (a) ) with all the injuries it looks like they suffered at the weekend they could be under strength in france, and its a hard enough place to go as it is, they lose that theyve got wigan... and then hull away could be a dangerous game as hull may have to win to get in the playoffs and have some decent players , very much wishful thinking, but if we can beat Hull KR, Salford and Quins we may not be far off come the 10th of september, thoughts ?
There is very little point playing anyone who needs a rest. We can do no better, and would have to have a shocking last 3 games to do any worse than 3rd.
Seams a very wise move now, not to be playing big red this weekend. The only concern would be a drop off in intensity would be hard to pick up again come playoff week.
It's more than likely we are going to the Wire, so do we rest players till the last game or should they be back straight after the CC final.
Come on Pete who are the players who could do with a few weeks in the arm chair, Leon and clough will probably start every game to get match fitness up I imagine.
Quote="St pete"Foster, shenton, Graham, roby, sia have all been playing with knocks and obviously flannery, makinson and lomax are just back.
Was with few of the lads this week and looking forward to some time off while Leeds stuff the pies at Wembley
'"
I have a funny feeling if anyone from Leeds is stuffing pies next week at Wembley, they will be staff working in catering. I can only see one outcome and that is a total white wash for the pies.
