Quote ="Slippery Steve"A number of Tickets are still available in the South and North Stands.
I was advised that I could purchase tickets from the ticket office at the ground should I want one. Poor show that this fixture is not sold out in my opinion. I am 100% sure that playing at Widnes is off putting to some, but to charge £25.00 for an adult South Stand ticket is not helping, its not rocket science is it, ticket pricing needs to be reduced....'"
It's pathetic marketing from the club really. I really hope we become more professional when we move into the new place. It was reported on Sky last weekend that it had sold out, Wigan reported on their website it was a sell out, Sporting Life did and all the while there were thousands of unsold tickets available.
Why the club isn't spamming the local radio stations for shoutouts that the game still has tickets available and to ring to secure them is beyond me.
And for the 4,000 that aren't bothering because it's all the way away in Widnes, grow some, get a job and get on a bus/car/taxi/helicopter/train/Wigan scooter and get yourself to the games you pathetic bunch of
Wembley wouldn't be too far away if that happened, nor would Manchester.
