I think Paul Wellens would be the most suitable candidate, although some posters on this thread seemed to have derailed it towards a fullback peeing contest. Although if they all want to come to Saints they could be part of the captaincy 'team'!

Yes Sam Tomkins was better player than wello last year but wello is a real fullback. Sam is just learning the game at fullback, so yes I'd take wello now over the Sam of now.

TBF Wellens has been by far and away the best full back of the SL era.
That is of course true if you take Kris Radlinski out of the equation
