If you look at the rules, the RFL say they cannot play in both Academy competitions in the same week.
I suspect the logic behind this is to ensure clubs have sufficent players to field two sides without them having to double up across 18 and 20.
Wigan are not the only club with injuries across their three teams some are in a worse position nor are they the only loaning out players.
It is down to the club to manage their players and if Wigan choose to loan out some of them then they should ensure they can fulfill their own commitments first.
No wonder the standard of RL is so poor, if the best we can come up with is a kid who has no interest in RL and who doesnt know how to play the game.
What are we doing? Just picking up any tom dick and harry off the street and forcing them at gunpoint to play RL?. I hate cricket, its gash, hence why I dont play it. I dont believe for one minute that Ashe has no interest in RL because he would just quit.
Quote="Rogues Gallery"Ashe looked to have all the raw talent, but as Chief Scout says if he doesn't have the interest or application then what do you do with him?'"
I'm certainly not impressed now.
The game has been re-arranged for Wed. 25th August with a 6:30 p.m kick off. It's the same night as the Leeds Carnegie nines comp. at Headingley which we had planned to attend (probably still will)

You could always leave just after half-time. (in the true Wigan tradition)
