Don't get me wrong - every club has its fair share of s and a majority of decent fans - you and us alike.

However, being a Saints fan living in Warrington, the amount of noise along the lines of "We are now the best team in the league" from some Wire fans of long standing (as well as those who don't even know where the HJ is, never mind Wilderspool) is amazing......the latest barrage of such nonsense being spouted at me last night.

Yes, Warrington are miles better than they were; yes, you have got a decent set up managerially (not just Smith, but the other guy from Leeds as well who is responsible for the young lads but whose name escapes me) yes you have made some excellent signings instead of the 75% turnover in playing roster you used to see in the off season from Wire, most of whom were useless..........etc etc.

However, being silent about it isn't my experience of Wire fans at the moment.

Let's just hope we have a good game tonight - as exciting as the Wire v Wigan game.........and with the same (and usual!) result - a Wire loss

think briers has gone off injured in every game he has played at kr, usualy when they are gettng beat.

Both teams scored the same amount of tries, goalkicking was the difference but it was a good game and both teams will move on and concentrate on next week, no biggie.
I'm curious about certain stats because tbh I thought Warrington's pack was on top for large parts of that game, in attacking positions bloody hopeless though

You must have seen a very different game to me because on the most part the game was played in your half. Certainly in the first half a vast majority of the match was played down in front of the Wire fans because I was stood at the back there and could hardly see a thing. The second half wasn't as bad because Saints had the ball and the game was only down this end during that Warrington blitz.

Overall I thought Saints pack was immense both with the ball and without it. Certainly in the first forty minutes I don't remember Warrington posing too great a threat except through bombs.

Although you only listened to it on the radio you're bang on in that assessment. Saints always seemed able to keep Wire at arms length.
