Everyone says potter was brought in to blood the youngsters, but how many youngsters did he bring through at Catalans

I think potter 1st aim when he took the Catalan job was to bring through some French players to cut down on all the Aussies.

I think I read in Potters last year they had something like 65% of the squad that was French which is pretty good as they made playoffs that year.

I don't think we will see youth coming through at Catalan for another few years yet.

Next season they are running a team in the reserve (U20's) comp.

Wasn't he youth coach prior to taking on the Catalans job? I can't remember exactly, but he did something good with youth in Oz.

I think it will take a while before we see the French produce any young lads that are up to super league level.

Setting up a good youth system takes time.
