Thankyou for 'entertaining ' us . Loved every second of it . How many of you came to the game ? From where I was stood it looked like you only filled around a third of West Terrace .'"
That terrace is now a joke.
I see your famous south stand is falling down, hence the need for a shed load of Leeds yocals standing behind the sticks. I take it disrepair is the reason why sections are now cordoned off. Anyway because of that, half of the open forgotten sub-standard end (behind the sticks) was full of Leeds riff-raff and it wasn't a very hospitable place to be especially for kids. Saints fans were there in numbers, plenty not wearing colours like the group I was with and we were all mixed in.
I've got to say I'd rather lick my own Ar$3 than spend 80 mins stood with die hard Rhinos again. At least at Knowsley Rd, the away end is more or less exactly that, a place for fans to support their team as away fans and group together. Saints fans didn't have that option on Friday.
I was stood next to a guy in a Rhinos shirt with all his mates who didn't even know the players names, didn't know who won the cup last week and asked me how Saints had got on in the final!!!!! Had a Rhinos shirt on though so he must be a good fan.
