We only noticed Tomkins because wigan dont have anyone else to give the ball to, and what exactly did tomkins do with the ball, apart from look dangerous in broken play and put a kick through? Eastmond did just as much, even though we had the likes of Pryce and Cunningham to control things. Eastmond, on a few occasions, nearly put one of our players through a gap and would have made a few breaks if it wasnt for some last ditch ankle tackling.
Tomkins wasnt as good in the game as everyone is claiming and i certainly wouldnt swap him for Tomkins, not in a million years
