Those who seem to be in the know reckon that Magennis (probably spelt that wrong) is the best of our young back rowers. That has to be good news as I've been mightily impressed with what I've seen from Dixon and Ashurst.
Ande and I were commenting on him this morning. He never really stood out at any time previously, like Cloughy and young forwards before him, he found his feet and let the more experienced heads lead him through. Last night he ran some very impressive lines, tackled well and fired out a superb ball to Gardner for his try.
