The League will be Running on Monday Evenings 8pm at Thatto Heath Training barn Starting on 10th of October for 10 weeks. Teams are limited and will be on a first come first served basis. Being serious, touch rugby is great way to keep fit.

I think even my wheeler esq body could manage it

So you'll play one week then miss the next 10 games just like wheeler?

Saying that, I can't say anything I can't play for at least 4 weeks with my hand.

It looks like there was an initial from some people about entering a team,

I was wondering how many people would be interested in entering a team for this event.

We only have 2 spcaes left for teams to enter with just over a week before the first games begin.

As i said before it would be great to see a team of Saints fans taking to the pitch to show your skills.

I'd be up for it but I think there are a lot of 'older' people on here ..... never know though .. anyone else up for it?

Id be up for it but depends on which days training and the games are played as I'm still playing real rugby

Mondays? I'll play. My waistline's been slowly expanding since I stopped playing properly, so I could do with finding something to do.

The biggest issue we have had is finding an indoor venue with suitable availability,

We have been able to get Thatto Heath training Barn @ 8pm on Monday evenings.

There is a cost of £3 per person (covers venue, officials, prizes and admin) and the league runs for 10 weeks, Finishes a couple of weeks before christmas and will start back up in January.

Games are 5 a side and squads can be made up of 10 players. Each team will play 2 x 20 minute games per week.

There are no only 2 team spaces left so if the message board/Suppoerters are able to get a team together i would suggest try to get your entry in as soon as possible, So far there are 3 people who have said they would play, If you know anyone else who would be up for it please get them involved,
