| Oxford from RFL website - Burnett, Nathaniel, Brooker, Hoggins, McAllister, Allan, Holmes, Evans, Kitson, Bustin, Siddons, Nicholson, Maher, Canterbury, Igbinedion, Williams, Baird, Greene, Parry
So that's probably:
Harvey Burnett, Joshua Nathaniel, Marcus Brooker, Andy Hoggins, Clark McAllister, Danny Allan, Tom Holmes, Luke Evans, Nathan Kitson, Callum Bustin, Jordan Siddons, Nicholson, Will Maher, Casey Canterbury, Dan Igbinedion, Jordan Williams, JJ Baird, Charlie Greene, Jordan Parry
Dual reg - Will Maher, Tom Holmes (both Castleford), Jordan Williams, Callum Bustin (both London Broncos)
Jordan Parry is ex-Sheffield (Hallam and Eagles, I think) brought into the club this season. Has played for the reserves, but I don't think he's been in the first team squad.
Not sure who Nicholson is.
Compared to last week:
In - Harvey Burnett, Nicholson, Jordan Parry
Out - Jack Smith, Errol Carter, Adam Withington,
Rochdale - Riley, Bloomfield, Shoel, Gailbraith, Ratu, Crook, Yates, Tahraoui, Moores, Thompson, Smith, Case, Trumper, Files, Biscombe, Hadden, English, Francis, Lee
So that includes ex-Oxford players Stuart Biscomb and Matty Hadden (although apparently Rochdale can't spell Biscomb), and Bulldog's mate Wayne English.
Excerpt from Rochdale website:
Rochdale Hornets travel to Oxford on Sunday, as they aim to continue their unbeaten start to the league campaign and extend their stay at the top of the division. Alan Kilshaw’s men won’t be complacent going into the game. “We won’t take them lightly,” he commented following the win over Skolars. “They are due a win and we don’t want that to be against us. We will go with confidence and not arrogance, and we will look to hit the straps particularly in attack.”
You have to go back to September 5th 2015 to find Rochdale’s last defeat in the league, as they were beaten 46-28 at Craven Park by Barrow Raiders. In that game centre Mike Ratu picked up a shoulder injury which saw him miss the beginning of the season, but he has recently made his comeback to the first team. He is edging towards full fitness now and is looking to progress and get back to his best. “It’s been the longest string of games I’ve done for six or seven years so I’m happy with that,” revealed Ratu. “I’m a bit rusty but I’ve been happy with slotting back in and keeping fit. (I’m) building, just like we are as a team and I’m progressing well.”
